Operational Excellence Specialist
This role plays a pivotal part in advancing Operational Excellence and continuous improvement principles across the site through multifunctional collaboration, delivering high-impact and sustainable business results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing/engineering/science or quality discipline with experience in delivering continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. They should also possess strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with digital tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining and continuously improving elements of the site's Operational Excellence program including Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) Tier Reviews, Sitewide 6S Program, and weekly Problem-Solving RCA Hub.
* Promoting and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the site.
* Assisting in identifying continuous improvement and efficiency opportunities across all direct manufacturing and support functions.
* Leading & executing improvement projects, problem-solving activities, and Kaizen events using OpEx and Lean tools to ensure the site achieves its quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost improvement targets.
* Maintaining PMO performance dashboard and coordinating reviews of PMO progress.
* Working collaboratively with site project managers & CFTs to develop project plans, establish timelines, and use project management tools.
* Managing departmental and site KPI's and reporting, including maintaining site visual boards (digital & physical).
* Maintaining & driving visual management and data understanding throughout the plant including assisting and mentoring other functions on site on data and digital analysis best practices.
