Medical Advisor Role Overview
Job Title: Medical Advisor

The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Advisor to support multiple capital projects in Dublin. This is an opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art fill-finish facility and the company's first stand-alone vaccine and biologics plant outside the US.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide fair, balanced, non-promotional, and unbiased medical and scientific assistance to healthcare professionals regarding product portfolio, clinical development program, or disease areas of interest.
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with the healthcare community, especially scientific experts and academic centers, in relevant disease areas.
* Participate in the development of Medical Affairs Plans and implement tactics aligning with the Company's therapeutic areas of interest.
* Deliver specific projects in the medical plan, such as health technology appraisals, clinical trials, early access strategies, guideline and policy work, symposia, advice-seeking activities, and medical education initiatives.
* Facilitate data generation activities, including identifying suitable research projects, research centers, investigators, and innovative methods to generate data.
* Maintain integrity and ethical governance for the organization, leading by example.

Requirements:

* Medical degree or pharmacy degree; a higher science degree (MSc, PhD) with industry experience and clear demonstration of achievements is allowable.
* Strong scientific background in medical or biological science.
* Medical Affairs industry experience required.
* Oncology industry experience preferable.
* High level of knowledge of IPHA Code of Practice, preferably final signatory status.
* Proven relationship-building skills with scientific leaders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
* Able to prioritize work effectively, balancing long- and short-term requirements, and demonstrate previous excellent cross-functional working.
