Our purpose is to provide an integrated range of community based services to support older people to continue to live at home.The RoleWestgate Foundation is currently seeking to recruit two voluntary Board Directors to play a meaningful role in supporting the organisation’s mission and shaping its future direction.Desired Skills and ExperienceHR/People ManagementBusiness DevelopmentDesired QualitiesInterest in the provision and development of community based services for older peopleA deep appreciation and knowledge of the Not-For-Profit sectorAn understanding of and commitment to our mission and valuesCommitment to highest levels of corporate governanceKey ResponsibilitiesProviding input to the strategic direction of the organisation and contributing with insight, oversight, and experience at board meetings and any additional commitmentsPolicy development and implementation as requiredGovernance oversightBoard MeetingsThere will be 6 board meetings and 4 sub-committee meetings a year. Meetings are held in Ballincollig, Cork.
