Recycling Operative £13.91 per hour City and Neighbourhood Services Waste Management Key Responsibilities: Assist the public with recycling and safe disposal of waste Maintain high standards of customer care and promote recycling Ensure correct waste types are accepted and stored safely Keep the site clean, tidy and safe; control access and manage traffic Record waste data and maintain site paperwork and IT systems Respond to emergencies, including fire and adverse weather Take part in training, educational initiatives and council projects Comply with council policies including customer care, safeguarding and health and safety Essential Criteria: Minimum of 2 GCSEs (grades AC), including English, or equivalent AND At least one years experience in Working in a waste management environment Providing face-to-face customer guidance Skills: Manual Handling Heavy lifting Loading Warehouse materials Warehouse work WASTE waste management
