You will work with all stakeholders to help recognise and manage the inherent risks facing the business. You will ensure that risk management practices are maintained and continuously improved.Implementing, maintaining and updating our risk management processExamine business activity to identify the risks facing the business.Collect and analyse data on internal and external factors related to business activity to identify risk, then summarise this information in a risk register or other formal way to define the organisation's risk profile.Analysing the financial impact when risks occurPerformance of risk assessments and risk evaluationProviding strategic advice in regards to implementation of risk management methodologiesDelivery of the ongoing self assessment of risk management processes and procedures, scoping, agreeing and implementing improvements as requiredReporting on risk to the relevant stakeholders ensuringIndividuals understand their accountability for individual risksEducating employee on risk awarenessAssessing the adequacy of insurance policies to address business risksAnalysing and documenting external risks posed by corporate governance stakeholdersReview, assess and report significant risks and issues identified or reported by the business in line with the incident management processSupport with the development of management plans and policies for projectsQualifications And ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Business related disciplinesPostgraduate qualifications in Risk Management will be advantageous5+ years of previous experience in a risk management role ideally in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding and experience applying the ISO 31000 Risk Management and understanding of risk management principles in a project context including risk quantification and analysis.Strong analytical skills to analyse information to look at trends, potential results of actions and the likelihood of these results.Excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills with an ability to work under pressureExExperience in developing and implementing risk management policies and processesIf you have the above experience and are looking for a role where you can make a real difference, apply today to find out more
