Management Accountant (FTC)Uniphar Group is searching for a Management Accountant to support the Global Sourcing division on a 12‑month fixed term contract. The candidate will report to the Finance Manager and will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis for a key project.The RoleThe management accountant will provide dedicated financial support, collaborate on robust financial analysis, and ensure the delivery of accurate financial reports.Key OutcomesSupport the finance & project team in managing financial reporting during dual running of legacy and new ERP systemsPrepare and review accurate monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis for the business unitPerform reconciliations across multiple systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial dataInvestigate and resolve discrepancies between financial reports, liaising with finance, project & IT teams as necessaryValidate financial data during system migrationPartner with cross‑functional project teams to provide financial insight and support operational decision‑makingEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS) and internal controlsReview and assess controls and work with project teams to implement or enhance internal controlsDrive process improvements in financial reporting and project monitoringAssist with month‑end close activities, ensuring compliance with group reporting deadlines and accuracy in reporting and variance analysisLiaise with Group & Intercompany finance teams as necessaryParticipate in regular team and group meetingsKey Skills & ExperiencesProfessional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent) – fully qualified or finalist preferredSystems orientation – Ability to work across multiple financial systems simultaneously and maintain data integrity; knowledge and experience across ERP systems (SAP an advantage)Analytical skills – Strong capability to identify discrepancies, reconcile data, and ensure accuracy across dual reporting environmentsAttention to detail – Maintains high standards of accuracy when working with large volumes of data across systemsExperience working with multi‑functional disciplines including non‑financial managersStrong ability to apply critical thinking to resolve problems & proactive in investigating variances and implementing effective reconciliation solutionsProven time management and prioritisation skills focusing on urgent and overlapping deadlinesAbility to work effectively under time and delivery pressuresHigh level of proficiency in ExcelShow resilience, be flexible and adaptableProfessional level written and oral communicationUniphar BackgroundUniphar Group is a rapidly expanding diversified healthcare services business with a global footprint and a proud heritage in Ireland.
