We are currently supporting a global technology organisation in the search for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This role is focused on delivering large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects, including new-build data centres across the EMEA region.Key DetailsLocation: Dublin (onsite)Contract Duration: 12 monthsCommitment: Full-time, 40 hours per weekAbout the RoleThe successful candidate will support electrical design activities throughout the full project lifecycle. This includes collaboration with design consultancy partners, reviewing technical documentation, ensuring compliance with regional standards, and providing engineering support during construction and commissioning phases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate operational requirements into robust, scalable electrical solutions.Key Responsibilities• Support electrical design for new-build data centres and critical infrastructure• Review, interpret, and approve equipment submittals and technical documentation• Manage external design consultancies and ensure alignment with project requirements• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve design-related issues, includingRCA and corrective actions• Participate in site reviews, audits, and engineering evaluations• Engage with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify appropriate electrical equipment• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of engineering standardsRequirements• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline• Experience with electrical design in industrial, commercial, or mission-critical facilities• Knowledge of regional building codes and standards• Experience with commissioning processes• Strong understanding of data centre technologies, electrical systems,and constructability considerations• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment• Professional Engineer license is an advantageThis is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys complex challenges, high-impact projects, and collaboration within a forward-thinking technical environment.eTeam Workforce sp. z o.o. is an employment agency entered in the register kept by the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Province under number 21300.
