Solicitor / Barrister – Employment Law, Belfast (Hybrid), Up to £60,000 (DOE)
Overview
Our client is a professional body providing employment law and HR support, training, and advice to businesses across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
They are now seeking a Solicitor or Barrister to join their highly respected team. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-quality employment law matters. The role offers the chance to provide expert advice, advocacy, and training while being supported by a long established, people focused organisation.
This role would ideally suit a lawyer with 2–5 years + PQE and a passion for employment law. However, candidates with less experience who can demonstrate a strong interest and commitment to specialising in this field will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Advising member businesses on a wide range of employment law matters.
Providing clear, practical guidance and representation on HR and workplace issues.
Carrying out your own advocacy with training and support provided.
Delivering training sessions and workshops to members.
Working closely with colleagues to ensure a collaborative and professional service.
Contributing to the development of resources, updates, and guidance materials for members.
Essential Skills & Experience
Qualified Solicitor or Barrister
2–5 years’ PQE in employment law preferred (other experience considered if passion for the area is demonstrated).
Strong advocacy skills, with the ability and confidence to represent clients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical advice.
Strong interest in training, learning and development.
