Job Title: Driver & Product Support (with Sales Pathway)
Part-time: 3 days per week, with opportunity to grow into additional days and expanded roles
Overview
We are hiring a part-time Driver & Product Support team member for HQ. This is not a standard delivery job. We want someone reliable and personable who enjoys food, understands quality, and can add value beyond pure driving. The role includes deliveries to restaurants and retail, light prep and packing work, and the option to develop into sales, customer relationships, and broader operations if the person has the ambition.
Core Responsibilities
* Deliver products to restaurants and retail customers on a structured route.
* Maintain high standards of presentation, accuracy, and customer service at every drop.
* Assist with packing, portioning, labelling, and general prep during non-driving hours.
* Support warehouse/production workflow, keeping dispatch organised and clean.
* Communicate clearly about shortages, delays, and customer feedback.
* Spot sales opportunities on the road, such as low stock or customer needs, and relay them to the team.
* Represent the business professionally at all times.
Optional Growth Areas (extra hours available)
For the right person, we can expand the role into:
* Customer relationship building and basic sales
* Account management support
* Seafood and product training
* Operations assistance (ordering, dispatch planning, inventory)
* Additional driving/delivery days as needed
Requirements
* Full, clean driving licence
* Strong reliability and timekeeping
* Comfortable lifting boxes and working in a chilled environment
* Basic food-handling or kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Common sense, initiative, and a calm approach to problem-solving
* Genuine interest in food, seafood, or hospitality is a bonus
Hours & Schedule
* 3 days per week (daytime hours)
* Potential to move to 4–5 days if the candidate grows into sales or operations responsibilities
* Based in Dublin with deliveries across restaurants and retail customers
