Main brands include Chadwicks, MacBlair, Cork Builders Providers, Davies and Telfords.

These include Heitons Steel, Panelling Centre, Morgans Timber, Proline and Sitetech in the Republic of Ireland, and Woodfloor Warehouse and Doorways in Northern Ireland.
It represents an all-island role and central to progression of the Group's sustainability agenda.
Principle Objective
Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, the Sustainability Coordinator – Responsible Sourcing is responsible in ensuring that Chadwicks Group and MacBlair products, suppliers, and operations align with evolving environmental regulations and internal sustainability standards.
The role combines regulatory oversight, supplier engagement, and advanced data analysis to drive responsible sourcing practices across the business.
The Sustainability Data Coordinator will play a crucial role in driving responsible sourcing initiatives by collecting and analyzing data and providing insights to support corporate sustainability strategies.
Knowledge & Experience
Adept at leveraging data-driven insights for strategic decision making
Excellent project management and data collection and analytical skills.
Championing and motivating colleagues to bring new ideas and try new approaches.
A natural collaborator, proficient in engaging with various stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and employees, to gather required sustainability related data.
Ability to collect, store and manage data to stand up to external auditing scrutiny
Full clean drivers license
Key Responsibilities
Governance
Ensure organisational adherence to key sustainability legislation, including EUDR, CSRD, Packaging_Regulations and other relevant frameworks.
Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure suppliers comply with environmental regulations and internal sustainability standards.
Develop and maintain responsible product specifications that align with regulatory and corporate requirements.
Responsible Sourcing & Supplier Engagement
Collaborate closely with buyers and suppliers to source more sustainable products and enhance the environmental performance of existing product ranges.
Manage supplier sustainability programmes, including conducting audits, monitoring corrective actions, and tracking KPIs related to supplier environmental and ethical performance.
Serve as a subject-matter expert to validate sustainability-related marketing claims and safeguard the organisation against greenwashing.
Data Analysis & Insight Generation
Perform comprehensive analysis of sustainability data across multiple product categories to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
Apply advanced analytical techniques to uncover trends and support evidence-based decision-making.
Implement a structured schedule of data reviews and audits to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and traceability of sustainability information.
Strategy, Reporting & Communication
Contribute to the development and execution of corporate sustainability strategies, using data insights to shape initiatives such as packaging-waste reduction and carbon-footprint optimisation.
Translate complex sustainability data into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare detailed quarterly sustainability reports highlighting progress against targets, key findings, and recommended actions.
Develop and deliver presentations for Grafton group, sales teams, and suppliers to communicate sustainability performance, expectations, and initiatives.
Desirable Skills
Experience within sustainability roles and/or exposure to the building materials sector preferred but not essential
