Fire Service Leader
About the Role:
The Fire Service leader is responsible for overseeing and managing the County Council's Fire Service. This includes ensuring that all services are delivered to a high standard, within budget, and in line with our policies.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain fire safety standards across all areas of responsibility ensuring compliance with statutory regulations;
* Foster positive working relationships with local authorities and external agencies to advance fire service operations;
Key Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in firefighting or emergency management.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification such as NFPA 1001 (Firefighter I) or equivalent.
