Role Overview
We are seeking
Industrial Energy Engineers
to join our expanding technical team delivering a large-scale, multi-site
Energy Management and Decarbonization Framework
for our customers.
This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on energy system optimisation, ISO ***** implementation, data analytics, and continuous improvement.
You will work within production and engineering environments, identifying and implementing opportunities that drive real reductions in energy use, cost, and carbon emissions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct
energy audits
and develop detailed analyses of process and utility systems.
Support implementation of
ISO *****-aligned
energy management systems.
Identify, evaluate, and deliver
efficiency and heat-recovery projects
with measurable savings.
Analyse metering and operational data to uncover trends and performance deviations.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and continuous-improvement teams to embed energy KPIs into daily operations.
Assist in integrating energy performance data into digital dashboards and analytics platforms.
Prepare reports, opportunity registers, and management-review documentation.
Deliver awareness sessions and training to build capability at site level.
Skills and Experience
Minimum
3 years' experience
in industrial energy, mechanical, or process engineering.
Strong understanding of utilities and process systems (steam, refrigeration, air, CHP, HVAC).
Experience with
energy audits
,
SEU mapping
, and
EnPI
development.
Working knowledge of
ISO *****
,
SI 428
, or equivalent compliance standards.
Familiarity with MES, SCADA, or energy-data systems.
Competence in data analysis and performance modelling (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
Ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects and communicate technical findings clearly.
Analytical, practical, and highly collaborative mindset.
Qualifications
Degree in
Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering
, or related discipline.
Post-graduate qualification or certification in
Energy Management
(CEM, ISO ***** Lead Auditor, SEAI Registered Auditor) is advantageous.
Full clean driving licence required; travel between client sites expected.
