We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager to join the team at The Diamond Coast Hotel.
The role of our Restaurant Manager is to oversee our Coral Restaurant, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations. The manager will provide efficient, prompt, trouble-free, courteous, and high-quality food & beverage service to our guests.
About The Diamond Coast
Located in Enniscrone, The Diamond Coast Hotel commands a prime location overlooking the breathtaking Enniscrone championship golf course, dune lands, and stunning five kilometers of golden beaches, perfect for water sports, swimming, and long walks. The luxury accommodation comprises 99 well-appointed, spacious, and tastefully decorated guest rooms, many with views over Enniscrone Golf Course and dunes.
The Coral Restaurant offers a warm welcome, excellent cuisine, great wines, relaxing surroundings, and friendly staff. Facilities include a banqueting suite for up to 400 guests, meeting rooms, and Stir Bistro.
Role/Responsibilities
About The Role
1. Manage all activities of the Restaurant.
2. Achieve restaurant goals by executing marketing and sales strategies.
3. Manage staff performance, conduct reviews.
4. Manage systems in line with forecasting on a daily and future basis.
5. Identify talent within the team for progression.
6. Motivate and influence the team professionally.
7. Develop relationships with other Departments for operational excellence.
8. Develop and maintain professional relationships with Head of Departments.
9. Manage health and safety of the Department.
10. Delegate tasks to Waitstaff and Supervisors.
11. Work with the Executive Head Chef on menus and specials.
12. Manage communication from management to staff.
13. Attend management meetings.
14. Control staffing budgets, costs, and stock.
15. Perform additional ad hoc duties.
Requirements
* At least 2 years experience as a Restaurant Manager.
* Experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel or high-volume, high-quality food outlet (desirable).
* Experience managing a diverse team.
* Proven competencies for the role.
* Effective communication skills with staff and guests.
* Time management skills.
* IT knowledge: Microsoft Office, ResDiary, Micros.
* Strong organizational skills.

* Strong leadership and management skills.
