We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Electrical QA/QC. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and performance of electrical components, systems, and installations throughout the project lifecycle. This position is vital in upholding high standards of safety, reliability, and excellence across all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed inspections of electrical systems, components, and installations to verify compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
* Document and report any discrepancies, defects, or non-conformities identified during inspections or testing processes.
* Develop and enforce quality assurance procedures and plans tailored to electrical projects and installations.
* Collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams to define and maintain quality standards throughout the project.
* Review electrical installations against technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and project specifications.
* Ensure that safety regulations and best practices are adhered to during the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
* Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring that any necessary corrective actions are promptly implemented.
* Maintain precise and up-to-date records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
* Provide constructive feedback to project managers, engineers, and contractors on quality concerns and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
* Electrical Qualification.
* A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the electrical industry.
* Experience with electrical testing tools and equipment.
* Solid understanding of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
* Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software suite.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
