You will provide diligent financial management services, enhance governance and get to be the trusted financial advisor to our high-growth client segment. This role will evolve from essential financial stewardship to a broader strategic and advisory capacity as the business scales.Key Responsibilities:· Prepare accurate and timely management accounts and year-end financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.· Act as a trusted advisor to clients in the high-growth segment, offering strategic financial guidance.· Own and manage all obligated filings, including tax returns and regulatory submissions.· Coordinate and assist with external audits, ensuring smooth and efficient audit processes.· Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control frameworks and governance policies for ourselves and clients in an advisory role.· Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities aligned with the company's growth objectives.· Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making by senior management.· Propose and develop leading AI technology solutions to enhance financial processes and reporting efficiency.· Transform the financial operations of the business.Essential Experience & Qualifications:· Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a senior financial management or financial controller role, ideally within a growing business or professional services environment.· Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory compliance relevant to Ireland. You will be working and advising a very broad range of clients within all sectors of the economy.· Experience preparing management accounts, statutory accounts, and managing audit processes.· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement internal controls and governance frameworks.· Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic financial planning.· Proficiency with financial systems and a keen interest in leveraging technology to automate and improve processes.· Relevant professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA is essential.· Experience working with high-growth companies or SMEs and understanding their unique financial challenges is highly desirable.· Knowledge of XERO and its ecosystem is a distinct advantage.Personal Skills:· Exceptional discipline, accuracy, and attention to detail.· Outstanding communication skills - able to convey complex financial information clearly, assuredly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders.· Strategic thinker with vision and flair, capable of anticipating business needs and driving financial innovation in both our business and our clients'.· Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.· Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
