Learn more at and on.Job DescriptionThe Industrial Power Systems group is seeking a motivated, technology-focused, experienced applications engineer to be part of our growing product development team. The Applications Engineer may support multiple products within power protection, battery charger, and isolated power products. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills, providing development and technical support. Responsibilities include creating reference designs, supporting customers throughout the design process with technical expertise, reference designs, development tools, documentation, debug, and design support.Responsibilities:Design, bench test, and debug electronic circuits, including troubleshooting support throughout the product lifecycle.Support FAE’s and customers in debugging and troubleshooting technical issues.Develop user guides, datasheets, and reference materials for products.Conduct thorough new product evaluations and test plans.Support existing products for field applications engineers and customers.Develop design and simulation models, tools, and circuits (e.g., LTspice).Provide technical writing, presentations, and training.Act as a customer advocate within development teams to ensure informed decision-making.Required Skills:Ability to work independently on application circuits of power products.Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.Experience with schematic capture, PCB design, and simulation tools.Hands-on experience with lab equipment.Positive, proactive team player attitude.Ability to communicate clearly with applications, marketing, field sales engineers, and customers (preferred).Minimum Qualifications:Honours Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Electronic & Computer Engineering or similar (preferred).4+ years of semiconductor industry experience with a power background (advantage).Additional Information:Good understanding of power applications and key circuit topologies.Job Req Type: ExperiencedRequired Travel: Yes, 10%Shift Type: 1st Shift/Days
