My client is seeking a Motor Damage Handler to join their growing Claims Team in Dublin City Centre. In this role, you will manage motor claims efficiently and empathetically, ensuring customers receive outstanding service throughout the process. You'll act as the main point of contact for claimants, brokers, and third parties, ensuring claims are resolved fairly, promptly, and in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of motor damage claims from notification through to settlement.
* Investigate claims by gathering relevant information from customers, repairers, brokers, and third parties.
* Assess liability, coverage, and quantum while ensuring compliance with policy terms.
* Provide clear and empathetic communication to customers at every stage of the claims journey.
* Negotiate settlements effectively and cost-efficiently, balancing customer care with business needs.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines (e.g. Central Bank, GDPR).
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth claim resolution.
* Escalate complex cases where appropriate.
About You
* Minimum of one years' experience in motor claims handling or insurance customer service.
* Strong knowledge of insurance principles, motor policy wordings, and claims processes.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and claims management systems.
* Preferably APA qualified or working towards qualification is an advantage.
