EHS Specialist About Your New Employer Join a well-established client operating within a high-volume production environment, delivering solutions across diverse sectors including healthcare and engineering. About Your New Job Ensure full compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) legislation (HSA, EPA) and maintain ISO 14001 standards, including audits, objectives, and KPI tracking. Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and management systems to prevent risks, hazards, and incidents. Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and inspections, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are identified and implemented. Manage training programs, contractor safety compliance, and communication of EHS standards across the site. Support overall EHS strategy by monitoring performance, overseeing permitting systems (e.g., JSA), emergency planning, and reporting to management and corporate teams. What Skills You Need Experienced EHS professional with a relevant bachelors degree and 5+ years in manufacturing, including exposure to injection moulding environments. Qualified trainer (QQI Level 6 or equivalent) with strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across departments. Solid knowledge of ISO 45001 standards with experience supporting compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. Familiar with engineering projects and New Product Introduction (NPI), contributing to safe and efficient process implementation.
