Land Manager – Renewable Energy (Europe)
Dublin based | Pan European remit
I'm supporting a
fast growing renewable energy developer
that's scaling its European pipeline across
solar, BESS and onshore wind
.
They're now looking to appoint a
Land Manager
into a pivotal role within the development function. This is a
hands on, commercially focused position
, offering real influence across site origination, land strategy and deal execution throughout Europe.
This role suits someone who enjoys being hands on, building trusted relationships, and owning land matters end to end, from early feasibility through to construction and operations.
The role will involve:
* Leading land strategy for new onshore renewable projects across Europe
* Supporting early stage site appraisal and feasibility from a land perspective
* Negotiating and securing land rights including
Exclusivity Agreements, Heads of Terms, Options and Leases
* Acting as the main point of contact for landowners, agents, legal advisers and development partners
* Overseeing external land agents and coordinating land-related inputs across multiple projects
* Working closely with development, legal and project delivery teams to ensure land agreements are executed smoothly
* Maintaining land records and providing regular progress updates to senior stakeholders
* Supporting the development of land templates, processes and best practice
This role does involve
travel across Europe
, so flexibility and comfort with time away from home is important.
What they're looking for:
* Proven
Land Manager / Land Acquisition experience
within renewable energy
* Strong experience negotiating land agreements and managing third-party agents
* Ideally
RICS qualified
, but not essential
* Comfortable engaging with landowners, solicitors and professional advisers across different European markets
* Fluent English is essential; additional European languages are a plus
* Commercial, credible and confident operating independently on live projects
* High energy, organised and delivery focused
* Full, clean driving licence
