Lead by Example: Senior Product Owner People Manager Role
This senior position involves overseeing a team of five Product Owners, allocating 60% of your time to people management and 40% to product ownership. You are expected to cultivate high-performing teams, establish robust relationships with software engineering teams, and advocate for product management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a cross-functional Scrum team and Product Owners, driving performance, growth, and team alignment.
* Resolve issues independently and provide coaching to strengthen delivery and ownership.
* Prioritize the product backlog, aligning with business objectives and team capacity.
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery.
About You:
* At least two years of experience managing one to two Product Owners as direct reports.
* A proven ability to measure success and drive accountability within your team.
* Skilled at managing individuals who may have previously struggled with ownership of their responsibilities.
