A leading Irish law firm is seeking to appoint a Qualified Solicitor to join its specialist Licensing & Litigation practice in Dublin.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a well-established and highly regarded practice area offering significant autonomy, direct client exposure, and genuine ownership of matters from an early stage.
The firm is open to candidates from approximately 2 years’ PQE through to senior level, with strong litigation experience essential. Previous licensing experience would be advantageous, though strong litigators with an interest in developing within this niche area will also be considered.
The role will involve advising clients across a broad range of contentious licensing and regulatory matters, including Court applications, renewals, transfers, objections, enforcement matters, and ongoing advisory work across sectors including hospitality, retail, and commercial operations.
The Role
Managing litigation and licensing matters from inception to completion
Preparing Court applications, pleadings, affidavits, and submissions
Advising clients on regulatory and licensing issues
The Person
Qualified Solicitor in Ireland or another common law jurisdiction
Minimum 2 years’ PQE
Licensing or regulatory experience advantageous
Excellent drafting and organisational skills
Comfortable managing matters independently in a fast-paced environment
