Employment Adviser Job Description
The Employment Adviser will provide supportive guidance, career assistance and facilitation to our clients while making them feel welcome and at ease, enabling them to overcome obstacles and build confidence.
They will provide interactive training workshops covering a wide range of subjects from resume writing to online job searching strategies.
* Assess client's specific needs providing support, career guidance and work with them to create a personalized development plan.
* Work with clients using a variety of approaches to support their growth, enabling them to overcome barriers and build resilience.
* Provide training sessions covering a broad spectrum from resume writing to online job searching techniques.
* Explore learning and work opportunities, acting as an intermediary between local employers and clients.
* Meet with clients regularly to review their progress and adjust the support accordingly.
* Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of a Leaving Certificate standard qualification. A third level degree is highly desirable but not a prerequisite.
* At least one year of experience in a recruitment, sales, training and/or customer facing role.
* Experience of working in a target oriented environment.
* Ability to multitask, organize and manage workload efficiently.
* A positive, proactive approach to problem solving with a 'can do' attitude.
* Proficiency in using a range of Microsoft Office programs.
