Financial Accountant
Location – London/Leeds/Dublin
Hybrid - 2 days per week (Dublin only)

In Flutter Finance, we pride ourselves on providing global expertise to ensure Flutter's financial health, leveraging our Flutter Edge to enhance our capabilities.
This role offers unique insights into the overall group and direct exposure to senior management. It is a key contact for the Group’s overseas offices, playing an important role in month-end close processes and the delivery of financial information across the group. The role also ensures all intercompany charges and balances are recorded in line with the Group’s transfer pricing policy and management agreements.
What You’ll Do
* Support all Group management reporting processes, including the monthly management accounts close and intercompany process.
* Prepare intercompany reporting and improve related processes.
* Collaborate with tax, treasury, and legal departments to ensure loan pricing accuracy.
* Liaise with divisional finance teams on monthly recharges and costs.
* Produce and deliver reports for intercompany, tax, treasury, and divisional purposes.
* Develop reports to meet senior management requirements.
* Improve the monthly close process and outputs, working with various finance teams.
* Prepare annual statutory accounts for Flutter Entertainment plc’s subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS and FRS 101, meeting tight deadlines.
* Work with tax teams to ensure transfer pricing and cross charges are complete across Group entities.
* Research and resolve technical accounting issues impacting the Group.
How You’ll Do It
* Qualified accountant with strong academic credentials (e.g., honors degree) and 0-2 years PQE, with industry or practice experience, preferably in a plc/multinational environment.
* Experience managing internal and external reporting.
* Experience with Oracle and Hyperion systems is desirable.
* Experience in a SOX-regulated environment or highly regulated industry.
* Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS.
* Treasury accounting knowledge is a plus.
* Experience working in a multicultural multinational finance environment.
* Motivated, organized, professional, with strong process, technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in statutory reporting.
* Strong communication skills to identify and convey key issues clearly.
* High energy, adaptable, resilient, and capable of working independently and under pressure.
* Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Interest in process improvement and automation.
