The ideal candidate will become part of a team with responsibility for manufacturing in the School. They will possess excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills, a flexible approach to work, and a willingness to assist with new developments in line with Faculty/University Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mentor, train, and support teaching related to design and CAD, manufacturing, projects, creativity, and innovation.
* Contribute directly to instruction and training, supervision of CAD/Project sessions, student mentoring, and advice related to capstone projects.
* Develop technical content within programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Level 8) plus 4 years of relevant experience.
* Expertise in programming and operation of CNC machines, using 2D and 3D CAD software, and CNC programming-based software for Senior Technical Officer.
