The Role
As
Coffee Quality Consultant
, you'll be the go-to expert for ensuring consistently high coffee standards across the South West. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll train, coach, and inspire baristas and hospitality teams while acting as an ambassador for great coffee.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver barista training and education to customers and internal teams.
* Support product innovation and assist with new product development projects.
* Partner with Sales during customer visits and tastings, showcasing products and brewing techniques.
* Conduct customer quality audits and provide actionable feedback.
* Share insights on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions that improve customer experience.
Skills & Experience
* Strong background in specialty coffee (barista trainer, head barista, or café manager experience).
* SCA qualifications (Foundation or Intermediate) would be a real advantage.
* Hands-on barista skills and passion for high-quality coffee.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Organised, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities.
* Confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
