Event Operations Manager Position
This is a unique opportunity to oversee the Conference & Banqueting department in a luxury hotel. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, coordinating events, leading a team, and delivering exceptional service standards.
* Manage all aspects of the Conference & Banqueting department on a daily basis
* Oversee event set-up, service, and breakdown in coordination with operational teams
* Liaise with clients to ensure all event requirements are met and expectations exceeded
* Lead, train, and schedule the C&B team to deliver seamless event execution
* Collaborate with Sales, Kitchen, and Front Office teams to ensure smooth operations
* Monitor service standards and implement improvements as needed
* Ensure compliance with all health & safety, fire, and hygiene regulations
* Manage stock levels, linen, equipment, and function room readiness
Key Requirements:
* 2+ years' experience in a similar Conference & Banqueting or Events Management role
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* A passion for delivering excellent guest service with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
* Knowledge of event software systems is an advantage
* Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland
