About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the opening team of our brand‑new, high‑end Italian restaurant in Malahide. As part of the acclaimed Oliver Dunne Restaurant Group, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work with exceptional ingredients, refined Italian techniques, and a team committed to excellence in hospitality.
You will play a key role in delivering consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, while contributing to the creative and professional culture of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
Run and manage your assigned section efficiently during service
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard, in line with the restaurant's Italian concept
Ensure consistency, quality control, and attention to detail at all times
Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu execution and development
Maintain excellent food hygiene, health & safety, and cleaning standards
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
Support and mentor Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff
Contribute positively to a professional, calm, and respectful kitchen environment
Candidate Profile
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi CDP ready to step up
Experience in high-end or quality-focused kitchens (Italian experience is a strong advantage but not vital)
A genuine passion for Italian cuisine, seasonal produce, and classical techniques
Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform under pressure
A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
