About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Specialist to join our technical engineering team based in Drogheda. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing advanced control systems that support continuous production processes.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimising system performance, implementing upgrades, and supporting site-wide automation initiatives using Siemens PCS7 and associated technologies.
* Taking full responsibility for the Siemens PCS7 central control system ensuring it operates efficiently across all plant operations.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should have a degree or equivalent qualification in a technical engineering discipline with minimum 5 years' hands-on industrial experience in control systems or automation. A proven track record of working with Siemens PCS7 Step 7 Simatic Manager Win CC is essential. Strong PLC programming skills CFC FBD STL Windows operating systems security network configuration SQL high-level programming language OT cyber security practices awareness preferred.
