Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our finance and commercial teams in driving growth within the fast-paced FMCG sector. You will assist in analysing sales trends, promotions, pricing, and customer data to uncover actionable insights. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career at the intersection of data and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean, organize, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
* Assist with Month end procedures, calculations of key margins with appropriate reports
* Support the analysis of sales performance, customer behaviour, and product trends across channels and categories.
* Assist in building and maintaining reports and dashboards in Power BI or Excel to track key commercial metrics.
* Help evaluate the impact of promotions and pricing strategies using internal and external data.
* Work with commercial and marketing teams to support new product launches and category reviews.
* Learn to interpret retail and consumer data to understand market and competitor trends.
* Support ad-hoc data requests from sales, finance, and marketing teams
Essential Skills:
* Strong Power BI, SQL and excellent Excel skills or similar tools.
* Analytical mindset with a curiosity for understanding how data drives business decisions.
* Growth mindset with the ability to embrace and help deliver change required to drive efficiency
* Good communication skills written and verbal with the ability to present findings in a clear, concise way.
* Team player with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Work experience in FMCG, retail, or a data/analytics-related role .
Exposure to data tools like SQL or similar.
A basic understanding of FMCG commercial concepts like promotions, pricing, and category management.
Experience using MS Dynamics ERP or similar
