Key Responsibilities
Consultation: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored Check Point solutions.
Operations: Act as a lead contact in the customers security operations center for Check Point Technologies, performing day to day operational tasks, troubleshooting, escalation management, maintenance and upgrade activities.
Solution Design: Create effective security solutions aligned with industry best practices and client objectives.
Subject Matter Expert: Act in a team lead capacity to support a team of network operations engineers, coaching in best practice, and acting as a point of escalation, and building a culture of growth and operational excellence.
Implementation: Lead seamless deployments of Check Point solutions, both remotely and on‑site.
Training: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for clients and their teams.
Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Customer Advocacy: Build strong client relationships and provide prompt support.
Documentation: Maintain detailed project records and operational documentation, including runbooks, network diagrams, configuration records, methods of procedures.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on Cyber Security trends and Check Point products. Foster an environment of team growth and help achieve operational excellence.
Collaboration: Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure client success.
Regional Travel: Travel regionally as needed to serve clients effectively. For this role the expectation is to be working onsite at our customer's Dublin office 2 to 3 days per week.
Qualifications
Thorough hands‑on knowledge of Check Point products.
8+ years of experience with IP based networks, network design, and security products.
Strong operational knowledge with experience working in a SOC preferred.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and cyber security concepts.
Solid understanding of network infrastructure (routing, switching, load balancing) and security products (firewall, VPN, IPS, Anti‑Virus, Application Control).
Good Linux command line knowledge preferred.
Experience with VSX, MDSM and Scalable Platforms preferred.
Experience with Maestro Orchestrator preferred.
Customer oriented and post‑sales experience with direct face‑to‑face service.
Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and adapt to changes.
Translate difficult technical concepts to understandable format for non‑technical persons.
Ability to work independently and as a mentor for other team members.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
