Accounts Technician / Bookkeeper required for a well established local business.
AS an Accounting Technician you will play a key role in supporting the office manager with day to day accounting tasks while assisting with general office administration. You will be expected to work with software such as Sage 50, Bright pay and Thesaurus.
Assist with the scheduling and booking of jobs, Collections of deposits and payments.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist with daily tasks using Sage 50 and other relevant software.
Process invoice's payments and reconcile accounts.
Help with payroll administration via Bright Pay and Thesaurus Software.
Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
Office Administration
Provide general office support, including answering calls and directing inquiries.
Schedule and book jobs efficiently, liaising with clients and engineers.
Maintain accurate records, filling and data entry.
Help with maintaining office supplies and ensuring the smooth running of the office.
Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers and internal staff.
Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues effectively.
Demonstrate excellent written communication skills in emails, reports and documents.

Key Requirements:
* Software Proficiency: Experience with Sage 50, Bright Pay and Thesaurus.
* High proficiency in Microsoft office, Particularly Excel and Word.
* Basic accounting knowledge, including familiarity with invoicing, accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills, excellent telephone manor and written communication skills
* High level of Attention to detail
* Fluency in English
