The Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Social Care Worker to join our team. As a Social Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* To work in partnership with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to identify and meet individual needs and preferences.
* To develop and implement person-centred plans that promote social inclusion and community integration.
* To provide support and guidance to service users to enable them to access education, employment, and recreational activities.
* To maintain accurate and confidential records of service user interactions and progress.
Requirements
* A recognised qualification in Social Care or Applied Social Studies (QQI Level 7 or higher).
* CORU registration as a Social Care Professional.
* A valid full driving licence and willingness to drive a manual vehicle.
* Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
