A Deli Assistant is responsible for providing top-notch service to customers in a fast-paced deli environment. Key responsibilities include preparing, packaging, and serving a variety of deli items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve deli products such as meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches.
* Slice, weigh, and package items according to customer requests.
* Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including equipment and display cases.
* Restock supplies and ensure displays are attractive and well-stocked.
* Operate deli equipment safely and efficiently.
* Label products accurately with prices and descriptions.
* Dispose of waste properly and follow hygiene protocols.
