About the Role
This is a fixed term (2 year) contract for a Scientific Project Officer in our Individual-Led Research team.
The role involves working under the direction of a Scientific Programme Manager to support the development and management of new and existing programme calls.
Responsibilities include supporting review processes, contributing to post-award management and evaluation processes, and planning and executing programme activities.
We are seeking an individual with a PhD in a STEM discipline and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Candidates should have excellent scientific, analytical and project management skills, as well as collaboration and communication skills.
A solid research track record, knowledge of good research practice and research assessment are also essential.
In this role, you will work in a dynamic environment where you will multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
You will be an influential communicator with excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and a professional and positive attitude.
Competencies required for this role include project management, specialist technical knowledge and expertise, analysis and decision making, interpersonal, team-working and communication skills, and planning and organising.

Salary details:
The starting salary for this post is €51,511 per annum.
This salary will rise over time, as per the salary scale detailed below.
The salary scale ranges from €50,501 – €73,985 per annum.
