Trade Plumbing Counter – Senior Sales Advisor
Job Description
The role of Senior Sales Advisor at our Trade Plumbing Counter is to provide customers with a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service. The successful candidate will promote the company's products and services in a professional manner while delivering a consistently high standard of customer care to our trade and retail customers.
Full‑time position – 39 hours per week – Monday to Saturday
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Acting as the first point of contact for customers at the trade counter, by phone and by email
* Providing sales support, generating quotations and assisting with lead generation for the plumbing trade sales team
* Monitoring customer orders and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment
* Maximising sales opportunities through order expansion and effective upselling
* Processing orders, confirming stock availability and liaising with colleagues and customers through to order completion and after‑sales support
* Providing product knowledge and technical sales support to customers
* Carrying out daily warehouse‑related duties
* Picking orders and assisting with loading deliveries
* Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required
Candidate Requirements
* Enthusiastic and self‑motivated, with a strong sales focus
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Good IT literacy
* A minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a plumbing trade counter, plumbing merchants, or a similar sales environment (desirable)
