In NM Engineering we develop and maintain Network Management requirements that maximise the value of Ericsson Networks for our 400+ customer base. We pride ourselves on our ability to put our people as well as the customer at the center. Our innovative capability lies at the heart of everything we do. With approx. 1500 staff in mainly 3 countries, we describe our organization as geographically distributed but functionally centralized.

Right now, our NM Engineering Unit portfolio as we have transfered and now look to stabilize the CNOM Product from Core Network Engineering.
The Core Network Operations Manager (CNOM) product provides functionality to support operational use cases, including monitoring, health check, data collection and analysis, troubleshooting, and tracing.
The functionality is offered as part of the following:

Core Network Base Package in ENM
Ericsson Network Director (END)
Cloud Native products that include CNOM Server as an ADP re‑usable service
CNOM as part of the Compact Core offering

Engineering Manager responsibilities
As an Engineering Manager, you will:

Result focused with line and project responsibility.
Think outside the box and look at things from different perspectives.
Be a dynamic leader that can drive and embrace change, and new ways of working.
Empower teams to use creative solutions to achieve business objectives and support them on their cultural journey.
Understand the financial landscape and drive more efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure that the teams are adequately resourced with the vital numbers of developers and the needed mix of experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities

Secure product scope, anatomy, goals, deliverables, and timeline.
Establish e2e responsibilities eg program roles, resources, competence & development capacity.
Drive product performance and continuous improvement.
Active risk management with clear mitigation strategies.
Deliver high quality SW with CI at the core of our way of working.
Create stakeholder reports on progress as well as problems and solutions.
Implement and manage change when necessary to meet business objectives.
Evolve the way we develop and deliver software to improve speed, flexibility, simplification, ensure quality and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Qualifications

Education: B.Sc. Computer Science or Engineering minimum.
10+ years’ experience in leading global teams in a multi‑cultural environment.
Experience in customer interaction.
Extensive knowledge and recent successful track record in leadership with proven track record in change management a significant advantage.
Proven strong leadership skills with clear examples of success stories from lean management style and empowerment of people.
Coaching & mentoring skills.
Strong influential skills and ability to cope with pressure and setbacks.
Proven track record in large‑scale development with agile methods according to lean principles.
Proven track record in driving effectiveness and efficiency across all disciplines of R&D.
Experience in driving fast and complex change.
Experience in Frame Management and a good understanding of cost driver for R&D.
Proven track record of being a team player, building strong and highly empowered teams.
Attitude characterized by “one Ericsson.”
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, fluent in oral and written English, and excellent presentation skills.
