TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Director of Nursing on behalf of a leading nursing home group.
This is a newly bought reburnished 60+ bedded nursing home based just South of Waterford city.
This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday – weekends are on rotation.
This nursing home is due to open at the beginning of June.
Requirements
Third level degree in nursing is required.
Must be registered with An Bord Altranais and possess an active PIN.
Up-to-date certifications in infection control, manual and resident moving & handling, medication management, CPR, dementia care, and safeguarding of vulnerable adults are necessary (training available if needed).
A post-registration qualification in healthcare management or equivalent is essential; otherwise, the appointee will undergo necessary training.
Additional post-registration qualifications in gerontology or dementia care are advantageous.
A minimum of three years of prior work experience in a managerial role is required.
At least three years of experience in eldercare nursing within the past six years is necessary.
A minimum of six years of post-registration nursing experience is essential.
Demonstrated clinical proficiency and a dedication to providing exceptional care for older individuals.
Possession of a full Irish driver's license and access to personal transportation is mandatory.
