Quality Engineer | Dublin (with travel across Dublin & Kildare)

An established and growing construction organisation is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the business in a newly created role.
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this position will play a key role in supporting and maintaining quality standards across multiple active sites.
This is a mobile role requiring regular site visits across Dublin and Kildare.
Key Responsibilities
Support implementation and ongoing improvement of the company Quality Management System (QMS)
Assist in the development and review of Project Quality Plans (PQPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
Conduct site inspections and internal quality audits across multiple live projects
Monitor workmanship standards to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and contract requirements
Manage and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring timely close-out of corrective actions
Review material submittals, approvals, certifications and testing documentation
Support subcontractor quality performance and ensure adherence to agreed standards
Assist in root cause analysis of recurring quality issues and support preventative measures
Maintain accurate quality records and contribute to management reporting
Support preparation for external audits, client inspections and regulatory reviews
Promote a quality-focused culture across site teams through guidance and collaboration
Requirements
Previous experience in a Quality Engineer / QA/QC role within construction
Strong understanding of construction processes and site operations
Experience working across multiple projects is advantageous
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and structured quality systems
Strong communication, reporting and organisational skills
Full driving licence required due to travel between sites
