Due to continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Digital Engineering Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the successful implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes for our projects. As a Digital Engineering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate model creation, coordination, data integration, and effective communication among project stakeholders. Your expertise in BIM software, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment will be essential for excelling in this role.
Responsibilities
* Create and prepare 3D BIM models and deliverables with high accuracy, reflecting the client's design intent and aligning with Vertiv standards, client requirements, and BIM processes.
* Develop plans, sections, elevations, 3D ISO views, and schedules for coordination, installation, and as-built documentation.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to develop and maintain accurate BIM models.
* Coordinate busbar services within multidisciplinary BIM models to identify and resolve clashes and discrepancies.
* Manage BIM workflows to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
* Assist in creating and maintaining BIM content libraries, templates, and families.
* Generate clash detection reports and facilitate issue resolution.
* Extract quantities and data from BIM models for cost estimation and scheduling.
* Ensure BIM deliverables align with project timelines and objectives.
* Provide training and support on BIM software and standards.
* Stay updated with industry trends and BIM best practices.
* Participate in meetings to facilitate collaboration among stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Qualification in Revit, 3D CAD, or equivalent.
* Proven experience (2+ years) in BIM coordination.
* Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar.
* Strong understanding of BIM principles and standards.
* Knowledge of busbar systems is a plus but not required.
* Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills.
* Familiarity with construction and design processes.
* Experience with clash detection and data management.
