As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland's most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Finance team as a Accounts Payable Associate.
Reporting to the AP Payments Manager, this role will support a variety of areas, including Payments, Procurement & Projects.
What you'll be doing:
* Control and execution of payments within Musgrave Business Services (MBS) and ensuring that the ledgers reflect fulfilment of payments
* Completion of account verification procedures for new account set-ups and change of bank details
* Support the Procurement team inclusive of supplier onboarding & control / governance activities
* Provide support for any ongoing projects as required
* Support the identification and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives to ensure processes are standardised and delivered in the most effective and efficient way
* Participate in Service Excellence and assist in delivering a high-performance culture
* Participate in training and development in own process area and other process areas within Accounts Payable.
What we'er looking for
* 2+ years industry experience in a Finance department with experience of operating with diverse stakeholder communities, particularly in an Accounts Payable area
* Excellent Excel skills
* Experience of participating in a project team and completing project testing
* Strong communication skills and a track record of delivering excellent service
* Positive and flexible "can-do, will do" attitude
Desirable:
* Relevant experience working in a business service centre with a track record of service delivery
* Experience with Oracle
