TJ O' Mahony, Glasnevin, Ballyboggan Road, Glasnevin, D11 H003, part of HPC Sales Ltd., Irelands' leading Builders Providers and Home Improvement/DIY Store, is looking for a full-time, Permanent, Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join our Team.
Job Purpose: Maintain the yard to a high standard. Operate yard machinery and provide deliveries to our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Check order and dockets prior to departure.
* Ensure deliveries are delivered on time.
* Ensure all PODs are signed and returned to the office on time.
* Complete daily vehicle and load checks and report any incidents on the day.
* Ensure loads are secured pre-departure. Adherence to compliance with Health and Safety and Road Safety.
* Multi drops and Branch to Branch runs.
* Driving long and/or short distances.
* Planning delivery schedules and routes with the Branch Manager.
* Handling freight in a safe, efficient manner.
* Helping load and unload goods.
* Documenting the required important readings and lorry quantities including commodities in the driver's logbook.
* Build excellent customer relationships.
Requirements:
* Forklift License.
* Display excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent time keeping.
* Be highly motivated and can work to set deadlines.
* Team player with ability to work on own initiative.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Good road knowledge of surrounding areas.
Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday-Saturday)
