BIM Technician – Water & Wastewater Treatment Projects
Kilkenny, Ireland | €23–€25 per hour | 6-month contract (with potential extension)
We are seeking a BIM Technician to join a leading engineering team delivering greenfield and brownfield water and wastewater treatment plant projects across Ireland.
In this role, you will produce P&IDs, 3D models, and high-quality drawings for client approval, construction, and verification, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Responsibilities
* Develop P&IDs using AutoCAD under the guidance of design engineers
* Create 3D models and general arrangement drawings in Revit
* Coordinate and resolve clashes using Navisworks
* Manage project deliverables and ensure accuracy across all documentation
* Support project teams to meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Requirements
* Relevant qualification in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC)
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a BIM Technician role
* Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM360
* Familiarity with Uniclass, COBie, and point cloud data (RecapPro or similar)
* Experience within water or wastewater treatment projects (preferred)
* Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
