Job Overview
To support our growth strategy, we want to recruit a Personal Lines Portfolio Analyst to support product development and portfolio analysis across our Personal Lines account.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new product offerings and implementing product changes with proper governance and controls.
The role also involves analyzing internal and market data and trends to support the development and execution of the Personal Lines strategy.
Job Responsibilities
* Support Portfolio Managers with large product initiatives by identifying necessary product, pricing, and process changes, managing from ideation to implementation.
* Develop business requirements for pricing and product changes; collaborate with IT on new solutions for improved infrastructure.
* Conduct market research and product monitoring to provide comparisons, gap analysis, and competitor insights for new propositions.
* Monitor the performance of Personal Lines portfolios and deliver insights for decision-making.
* Develop reports and reporting frameworks, enhancing reporting requirements in conjunction with BI processes.
* Keep product and underwriting guides up to date with changes.
* Create training materials and present on product topics.
* Collaborate with other business areas and external partners on plans and initiatives, developing requirements, research, and reports.
Qualifications
* Suitable third-level qualification; insurance qualifications preferred but relevant experience considered.
Experience
* Previous experience in insurance and knowledge of the regulatory environment is essential.
Competencies
* Interest in data and analytics with good commercial judgment.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills.
* Ambitious, energetic, with a positive outlook.
Additional Details
* Role within Pay Band C of FBD’s Sales Functions Pay Band.
* Offered on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
