Job Description
A leading engineering and construction services provider is seeking an experienced contracts administrator to work on diverse commercial projects across Northern NSW.
The ideal candidate will oversee contract preparation, negotiation, and administration while managing risks associated with contracts.
Key responsibilities include:
* Contract Management: ensure the effective preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts.
* Risk Mitigation: identify and assess potential risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them effectively.
* Cost Control: manage cost control for head contract claims, variations, subcontract claims, and monthly cost reporting.
* Document Control: maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documents.
* Dispute Resolution: address disputes or issues arising during the contract lifecycle in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* Strong understanding of contract law and regulations.
* Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Construction management degree or similar relevant tertiary/trade qualification.
* Minimum of 4+ years of experience in contracts administration with a proven track record in complex contract negotiations and management.
