Responsibilities
Assist the Regulatory and Compliance Manager in developing, implementing, and managing compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in India.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify compliance risks and assist in implementing appropriate controls and corrective actions.
Stay informed about changes to regulatory requirements and assist in updating company policies and procedures accordingly.
Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, operations, and risk management, to provide guidance and support on compliance-related matters.
Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory filings, reports, and disclosures to relevant authorities.
Participate in regulatory inspections, audits, and investigations, and assist in responding to inquiries and requests for information.
Provide training and education to employees on compliance-related topics and assist in promoting a culture of compliance within the organization.
Support the Regulatory and Compliance Manager in monitoring and reporting on compliance metrics and key performance indicators.
Assist in conducting internal investigations into compliance violations or breaches and contribute to implementing disciplinary actions or corrective measures as needed.
Serve as a point of contact for compliance-related inquiries from regulators, customers, and other stakeholders, and assist in managing relationships with external parties.
Requirements
In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and assess their impact on business operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey compliance requirements to diverse audiences.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Integrity and ethical conduct, with a commitment to upholding high standards of compliance and professionalism.
Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for compliance management and reporting.
