Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing timber roof trusses and space joists to meet customer requirements, building regulations, and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce accurate truss and joist designs using industry-standard software
* Interpret architectural and structural drawings
* Generate detailed drawings and material specifications for production
* Liaise with builders, architects, and engineers to ensure design accuracy
* Provide technical support to the sales and production teams
Requirements:
* Experience using roof truss design software
* Ability to read construction and architectural drawings
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Previous experience in roof truss or timber frame design is an advantage
