About the Opportunity
Our client is a company operating in the steel trading sector, dealing in both steel scrap and finished steel products.
The Role
As part of an international trading group, this position offers a dynamic, globally connected working environment with exposure to high-value trade and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Follow up on inbound leads and conduct initial qualification calls
* Pass qualified leads to the Sales Director for closure
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM
* Manage and grow existing accounts through upsell and renewal opportunities
* Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure smooth booking and delivery processes
* Regularly update freight rates for key delivery locations
* Organize container bookings and manage related schedules
* Act as a liaison between suppliers, hauliers, and logistics teams
* Collaborate with on-site inspectors to ensure quality standards and accurate weights
* File and manage essential documents such as inspection certificates and shipping paperwork
* Maintain organized records of loading photos and related documentation
