The Team and the Opportunity
Our SAP practice is experiencing an exciting period of growth. We are looking for experienced SAP professionals who want to take their careers to the next level.
EY’s global SAP practice has more than 26,000+ dedicated professionals in over 150 countries. We are investing heavily in S/4HANA, Ariba, IBP, SuccessFactors, Concur, GTS, SCP, Analytics and other new SAP solutions.
We help our clients tackle challenging problems by implementing SAP solutions that enable business transformation and deliver real value. We design and build global solutions with local variations, and deploy them to maximize client value.
In this role, you will be a key member of our SAP team. Your primary focus will be the delivery of SAP services to large clients implementing SAP S/4HANA. Your secondary focus will be on support and broader practice development. You will help develop high‑performing individuals and teams, leading and supporting them to deliver exceptional client services.
Your Key Responsibilities

Participate in design workshops to understand the client’s industry and business requirements.
Learn and solution‑engineer using design accelerators such as SAP’s Enterprise Management Layer (EML) or EY’s Pre‑Configured Industry Solutions for potential use on client engagements.
Design and configure best‑practice solutions to meet client requirements.
Produce key project deliverables including design and configuration documentation, functional specifications, data migration specifications, test scripts, training materials, etc.
Accountable for the design and implementation of SAP S/4 HANA capabilities supporting the Order to Cash workstream, order management, pricing, delivery processing, billing, and customer order related reporting.
Execute integration testing and support other testing activities such as UAT or performance testing.
Plan and manage client projects throughout all phases – Prepare, Explore, Realise‑Build, Realise‑Test, and Deploy.
Share knowledge of best practice within the SAP team and across other firm disciplines, and develop other members of the SAP team.
Support the development of the SAP practice, including leading internal team activities, supporting sales activities, and facilitating client events.

To qualify for the role, you should have

A third‑level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline, or relevant experience related to the position.
7+ years’ experience in SAP Sales Distribution implementations, with at least 2 years specifically in a consulting capacity for internal or external clients.
Experience with, or demonstrable understanding of, S/4HANA best‑practice processes, key benefits, and implementation scenarios.
Proven experience in SAP application design and configuration of technology solutions to support SD business processes.
Strong functional configuration experience with, or demonstrable understanding of, S/4HANA SD best‑practice processes, key benefits, and implementation scenarios.
Strong ability to lead, mentor and motivate teams, adopting a collaborative and supportive approach.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Relevant SAP certifications in Sales & Distribution or related modules.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven experience in leading team planning for all project phases.
