The purpose of this role is to provide executive support to the Regional Director in Planning & Performance and Manage daily operations and finances of the Planning & Performance function in the Mid-West Region, with responsibility for the smooth running of workflows and schedules.
The role will support the Regional Executive Officer and Regional Executive Management Team in the delivery of integrated, population-based planning and performance assurance across the Mid-West Health Region.
The post holder will lead and coordinate strategic planning, performance reporting, and service improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with national priorities and the Sláintecare reform agenda.
The role also ensures a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, effective governance, and cross-service collaboration to enhance service quality, accountability, and outcomes for the population served.
