Financial Controller – Hedge Funds | Dublin 2 | Up to €80,000Location: Dublin 2 (Fully Office-Based)Salary: Up to €80,000Job Type: PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and technically strong Financial Controller to join a rapidly growing investment business in Dublin 2. This is a unique chance to become one of the first 15 employees within the organisation and play a key role in building and developing the finance function during a significant growth phase.We are seeking a qualified accountant with a strong hedge funds background, ideally combining experience gained within a Top 10 accounting firm and subsequent industry exposure within the hedge funds sector.The RoleReporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of the end-to-end accounting, reporting, and control environment across a group of entities operating in multiple jurisdictions.Key responsibilities will include:Managing the full accounting cycle across multiple legal entitiesPreparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportingEnsuring compliance with both US GAAP and IFRS reporting requirementsDeveloping and maintaining robust financial controls and governance frameworksCoordinating external audits and liaising with advisors across various jurisdictionsSupporting regulatory, statutory, and management reporting requirementsDriving process improvements and helping establish best-in‑class finance operations as the business scalesPartnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic growth initiativesRequirementsQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)Minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience (PQE)Trained within a Top 10 accounting firmStrong hedge funds exposure gained in practiceIdeally additional experience working within the hedge funds industryExcellent technical accounting knowledge with strong US GAAP and IFRS experienceProven financial reporting and control backgroundExperience working across multiple entities and jurisdictionsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to thrive within a fast‑paced, high‑growth environmentWhat's on OfferSalary up to €80,000Opportunity to join a business at an early stage of its growth journeySignificant exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision‑makingBroad and varied role with genuine scope for progressionDynamic and collaborative office‑based environment in Dublin 2ImportantApplicants must have a valid visa and the unrestricted right to work in Ireland to be considered for this position.
